I wonder why Peves was left out of the movies. I started reading the
books after second movie came out on dvd and I couldn't beleive he
was left out. I see him as having a more and more important role in
the books. I would have thought Peves would have at least been
mentioned.

I saw the plaque but I couldn't see any part of the name, just the
four house crests. That was a good catch!! It took me a while to
finally see the name on that crest as being McGonagall! I always
wondered who King was because like you said, Rowling does have input
and I'm sure she has the names of the players, even if they aren't
important to the story.
