I agree, I didn't 'get' the werewolf scene that merges into a scene of
Ron growling/howling. It looked like a small cartoon werewolf.

>From what I heard, they hired some big rugby or football player to
play the part of the transformed Lupin. That certainly was no football
player in wolf's clothing.

One thing, we must be careful of though, in most new movies there is
no guarantee that what you see in the trailer is what you will see in
the movie. Now days they frequently create scenes just for the
trailers or they use scenes that are actualy cut from the final movie.

If that really is their werewolf then I am completely disappointed.
I'm reminded of what a horrible horrible job they did on Firenze the
Centaur in the movies. Firenze is support to be a young handsome blond
boy/teen/young_man. What are they going to do when they need to bring
Firenze back in Order of the Pheonix?

The part that bothers me most is that a centaur can't be that hard to
do. If you've seen the syndicated TV show 'Xena - Warrior Princess',
or 'Hercules' which is produced by the same people, they had centaurs
that were perfection. They had REAL horse bodies and REAL human
torsos. There were as real and lifelike as they could possibly be. So,
if a small time syndicated TV show can create such realistic Centaurs,
why can't a billion dollar franchise like 'Harry Potter'?

My feeling is the same regarding the werewolf, if that ridiculous
cartoon is their idea of a werewolf, then, without quesion, I feel
cheated. Lupin is an important character, and there is a possibility
we will see him in wolf form again. It's extremely shortsighted on the
studios part to skimp on this special effect.

Just a thought.
