If you are talking about Kevin Sorbo in the New Zealand-filmed
syndicated TV show Hercules, and it companion show 'Zena-Warrior
Prince', then yes.
Those centaurs were done to perfection, they were made up of living
humans combined with real living horses, which in the end created real
living (in the TV show) centaurs; sometimes whole herds of them.
Zena & Hercules where not huge big budget operations, yet they were
able to do centaur exceptionally well. That's one more reason why I
was so thoroughly disappointed in the movie version of Firenze. They
didn't even come remotely close to matching his description in the
book. He is suppost to be a very young handsome blue-eyed blond man.
The movie centaur looked like it was a left over from some Saturday
morning cartoon.
What are they going to do when Firenze comes back in future books?
They certainly can't continue on with that 'cartoon' centaur. I
suspect when Firenze appears again, they will get it right, and just
hope that we forget about the first version. At least, I hope that's
what they do.
Sorry for the rant.
