I thought of a couple of my favorite moments from CoS, I don't know
that they are better than the book, but I've always thought the acting
and pace are superb in:
1. The scene at the Weasley's, when Arthur comes in and asks about
the rubber duck, and Molly tells him about the car. The timing is
perfect, and I love that little smirk Harry gives Ron.>>
I love this seen... "what exactly is the purpose to the rubber duck" or
something to that affect. I also love when Molly tells Arthur all
about their "road trip", and he asked them how it was flying the car.
LOL! It just cracks me up every time, and such a man thing to say to his
"boys". The only thing that did bug me about this scene is that all the
actors look up before the owl or mention of the owl comes and slams in
the window.
2. When Harry and Ron confront Lockheart, again the timing is great
and the emotions of the actors just pop.>>
"Are you going somewhere?" LOL! Can you tell I just watched the last 30 minutes of CoS tonight on
HBO. :-) I know people are going to think I am nuts, but I think my favorite scene in CoS is when
Harry gives Dobby the sock and then Dobby protects Harry... "You must not hurt Harry Potter" I loved/hated
Lucius Malfory. I don't like the character, but I love the actor. If they do OotP movie, I can't wait to see
him "fight" as a Death Eater. :-)
