I thought of a couple of my favorite moments from CoS, I don't know
that they are better than the book, but I've always thought the acting
and pace are superb in:

1. The scene at the Weasley's, when Arthur comes in and asks about
the rubber duck, and Molly tells him about the car. The timing is
perfect, and I love that little smirk Harry gives Ron.

2. When Harry and Ron confront Lockheart, again the timing is great
and the emotions of the actors just pop.

One of my favorite moments in the first two movies is just an instant in time
-- Harry's reaction when Vernon says "And you?" and Harry says "I'll be in my
room staying quite and pretending I don't exist" (or whatever the line is) --
Dan delivered that just perfectly. I love the rubber duck scene too. Oh
another is when Harry laughs so naturally at Ron when the broom whacks Ron (when
they're first saying "UP!" to the brooms). I wonder how many takes that took,
to get that perfectly natural giggle, and Ron's "Oh shut up!" heehee. Well
done all around!
