Just signed up to this group, so apologies if I'm repeating any
previous posts. Here's my question, what are your thoughts on the
interpretation of the maze in GOF movie? According to the
danradcliffe.co.uk interview, recently, Dan says that the maze is
going to be more of a psychological quest, he says, and I quote: in
the book you've got a Sphinx in the maze, and there are other things
thatHarry's fighting off, in the film it's going to be a much more a
psychological thing. Basically the only things that are in the
maze are, the only things living that are in the maze are Harry,
Fleur, Viktor, Cedric and also the maze itself is almost alive and
so you've got, it's almost as if, the walls are kind of breathing.

And if Harry goes down one corridor of the maze, one passage of the
maze, and turns around, the bit where he came in there it's closed
up again, so he has to keep thinking of new ways to go. It's a
much more psychological thing than a physical thing. I think there's
a line in the script that Dumbledore says, it's something like, be
careful not to lose yourself in the maze, as you can possibly go
insane, as I think many people have in the past. End of quote.
Interesting interpretation, any thoughts folks? Oh, and I know
drooling's supposed to be kept to the Quidditch pitch, but he did
look gorgeous at NY premiere, didn't he girls?
