  It seems to me that each time a new HP film comes out, there is this big
speculation about the trio doing all of them. I remember them saying when
COS was released that they were doing the third movie, and no decision had
been made about GOF. Now the same thing is happening again! I can't see any
reason why they can't do them all - loads of actors play parts younger than
their real age. John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in Grease, Michael J
Fox in Bak to the Future, even Christian Coulson was 26, playing teenage Tom
Riddle. I think Dan's already thinking about OOP - I read his review on the
book on his website's 100 FAQs and he talks about the SCENES between Prof
Umbridge and Harry, rather than the chapters. Or maybe that's just the actor

  I totally agree.  I read that article about them being too old for all the
movies and how they are trying to keep
  up with their aging.  In the article they kept saying "well, Dan is
already two years old than PoA's Harry".  I
  wanted to write back to them and correct them that Dan was technically
only a year old than PoA's Harry
  when filming.  Who cares about a year older!  The trio is about to start
filming GoF, and he will be barely a
  year older than GoF's Harry. A lot of the "kids" on those teenage soap
operas are way older than their
  characters' ages.  Heck Toby McGuire played a teenage Peter Parker in
Spider-Man, and he was in this
  late 20's, I believe.  The only thing I do agree with is that the fact
that if JKR can write the last two books and
  get the movies produced while their still young enough to play the parts.
That is the only thing that worries me.
  I'd like to see all them finish the series out, because to me Dan, Emma,
and Rupert are Harry, Hermione, Ron,
  to me at least.
