[HPFGU-Movie] the birds and the bats

If you have the DVD, go to the "Care of Magical Creatures" spot on  the 
Marauder's Map (second disk) and watch the features there on how they  trained the 
animals.  Yes, they're ravens.  The bats are real bats and  were easier to 
work with than the owls, one trainer said.  The owls only  want to hunt -- 
they're killing machines.  The bats were easier to do  things with, and Cuaron liked 
them so well, he added them to many scenes  (they're inside Hagrid's hut when 
the kids are there before the execution, for  instance -- that's one place 
they were added).

What I'd like to know is, what kind of creature was that  supposed to be in 
the basket (the one Hagrid covered up)!  It was too cute  to be a Blast-Ended 
Skrewt!
