Lack of house elves in GoF film

I read on Leaky (an interview with David Heyman that was on Sci-fi  wire) 
that Dobby and Winky aren't in GoF.  I wondered how they were going  to get the 
gillyweed to Harry if there was no Dobby, but then I remembered the  pics of 
the filming that showed Dan standing by the edge of the lake with  Matthew Lewis 
(Neville) very close to him (there were a lot of other people in  the pics, 
too -- they're wide shots that show a lot of crew and background  stuff).  So I 
suppose Neville's going to come through for Harry with the  gillyweed info.  
I hate for them to lose the scene with Harry at the Yule  Ball wearing the 
socks Dobby gave him for Christmas -- and that's how Moody  knows to give Dobby 
the gillyweed clue, because of those socks.  I wanted  to see Harry in his 
dress robes with mismatched socks with snitches and brooms  on them, LOL!  Ah well.
