Thanks to SSSusan, akh and Cynthia for your thoughts. I hope you're
all right!
I haven't seen any of the behind the scenes clips, just the theatrical
trailer that is available on the web. And in that Harry seems to be
_standing_, at the bottom of the rock quarry-like setting for the 1st
task. When he tries to avoid the tail, there's no sense that we're
seeing Dan pretending to be on a broom. He's hit by the tail (a
glancing blow) and lands face down on some jagged rocks. At that
point they show a crowd reaction scene with Hermione gasping, then go
back to Harry staggering to his feet and turning toward the dragon,
which proceeds to breathe fire at our hero. No blue mattresses here!
This still suggests to me (everyone's hopeful comments very much
appreciated nonetheless), that Harry isn't on the Firebolt for the
whole of the task.
I guess I'll hold out for the idea that this all occurs _before_ the
Firebolt arrives, just to add drama to its arrival!
Cheers,
