Yes! In fact, I was taken out of the movie several times with similar 
moments. One was during a long shot of the exterior of Hogwarts 
during a rainstorm: I said on another messageboard that I was so 
forcibly reminded of the score for Helm's Deep that I half expected 
to see the camera close in on Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli staring 
grimly out over a battlement. Another time (I think it was the 
graveyard but can't remember clearly), the music made me think of 
Shelob's Lair. After seeing the film four times and noticing this 
every time, I actually found myself wondering if Howard Shore might 
have a legal case here. Needless to say, I was not inspired with 
GOF's soundtrack.
