name of clip: "preparing for the second task"
Astonishingly enough, I have nothing to say.

name of clip: "passing messages harry and ron"
Reviewed this in Part I; still don't like it. Don't think the scene
adds anything.

name of clip: "Choosing the Champions."

Oh, I'll mention here that I'm annoyed by the anglicization of the
pronunciation of Beauxbatons bo -BA tahn **** -- to bo BAT
tons.... does someone think we English speakers cannot handle proper
French pronunciation? The same people that thought kids in the U.S.A.
couldn't handle the Philosopher's Stone? and had to change it to the
Sorcerer's Stone? Nicholas Flamel actually existed in this universe -
he spent his life looking for the Philosopher's Stone. I wince and
shudder every single time I hear Hermione say "Don't you read? It's
the Sorcerer's Stone". Yes we do read, and there is no such thing as
the Sorcerer's Stone. VENT VENT VENT

**** The Harry Potter Lexicon has the pronunciation boh-ba-TAWN. They
state that "where possible, these pronunciations have come from JKR
herself saying the names."
The Harry Potter word wizard site at
http://www.theblanchards.com/hp/index.html has it as bo BA tahn,
which sounds the most correct to me.

The scholastic.com site has it pronounced BO ba tons
(http://www.scholastic.com/harrypotter/books/pronunciation/play.htm)
No one prior to the film has suggested bo BATtons..and I do not agree
with the poster at the Leaky Cauldron who says it's right because the
British pronounce baton that way.************

And more minor complaints.....let's see....I rarely visualize
characters...but I had a strong picture of Madam Maxime in my head
based on "handsome, olive-skinned face, large black liquid looking
eyes, and a rather beaky nose. Her hair was drawn back in a shining
knob at the base of her neck. She was dressed from head to foot in
black satin, and many magnificent opals gleamed at her throat and on
her thick fingers." I saw her as round and beautiful.
I don't think the actress falls into that category.

AND, I think it's out of character for Dumbledore to shout at
Harry...really, not well done...'way, 'way too out of character for
Dumbledore..he never shouted at Lord Voldemort! (for gosh sakes)
