Agreed.  And HOW could they chop up that first Potions class???  Alan Rickman
rocks.  Oh yeah, you probably haven't seen it, but there is an extended version
of this scene in the "deleted scenes" on SS, where Harry suggests that he ask
Hermione since she seems to know the answers to his questions, and Snape gives
him hell.  It establishes Snape's hatred for Harry in no uncertain terms.

You go, girl!  In that case, I recommend that your daughter should get two
slightly used VHSs for Christmas, while you enjoy a nice new set of DVDs!
