Oh, I don't know about that necessarily. I guess the main thing is that
everything that *IS* action adventure in the books is made more gigantic in
the films. You know, sfx moments. Buckbeak doesn't just soar around the
paddock but flies across the lake. The dragon fight scene was multiplied by
10 in the movie. Stuff like that. Maybe that is why he seems more heroic on
screen.
