Well, I was reading up on what film companies are allowed and what
they aren't allowed to do to "sway" Academy members to vote and
nominate their movies (such as giving them free movie tickets, free
music cds, free DVDs, etc, which, they are allowed to do!).. My
guess is that WB wasn't pushing GoF as much as some of their other
films, like Charlie & Chocolate Facotry, Batman Begins, Syriana...
