I love occasionally going back to the first or 2nd movie and seeing how
little all those characters were! I think that is why the movies are so
successful and that people keep coming back to them. To see the book
characters brought to life in such a real way...growing up before our
eyes, seeing the characters change physically and emotionally. Of
course the books are so special because the story is so rich and
detailed...and yet I love to see what the directors and actors do with
the material.
I believe my girls were 4 when they saw the first movie. They were a
bit frightened by the troll, and of course, the parasitic Voldemort,
but delighted by the magic of the story. I think these films will hold
interest for many for a long time to come.
