Aren't the spell incantations in Latin? If so, then that would make sense. Thanks for the insight!

In classical Latin, it'd be pronounced 'akkio', though in church Latin it might come out assio.... My education included classical Latin, so I've always said akkio.

Thanks!!!
Yes, I noticed the Hitler look right away, but I didn't include it at first because I wasn't sure how people would react. But a few people in another group that I'm in brought it up and didn't get any bad reactions, so I encluded it!
As for 'accio', I only heard the audio version once, so I don't remember how Jim Dale pronounced it. But I'm with you...I always thought it was 'ass-ee-oh'. Maybe 'ak-ee-oh' is correct..I don't know!
After I saw it the first time, I thought he said 'ass-ee-oh' at the graveyard, but it turns out he didn't...but there was a lot of noise, what with the Death Eaters going nuts, and Voldeshorts on his rampage, so Harry's pronounciation wasn't quite as noticeable.
Besides...it was funny, so I left it in there!!
