I have two little boys... both of which like HP, but my 3 year old(the other
is 7) is an addict like me... :-D When my oldest has his door locked my
youngest grabs his wand and yells ALOHAMORA!

<snip>W elcome! I love all the movies... I think SS was the closest...
The part that really irritated me the most in the movies was the PoA... that
Lupin didn't tell Harry who the creators of the marauders map were...
and how close he really was to his mother and father. I thought that was a
hugely important part of the plot line.
OOTP was my absolutely least favorite book, so there isn't much of it that
I'm looking forward to...although I'm going to gooble up every moment I'm
sure.<snip>
Stacey: Thanks for the welcome! How funny, my answers are almost identical
to yours. SS seems closest to me (and as an aside, I think that as the
books get longer, the less the movies will hold true to them or at least
contain all the subplots). When I wrote the question about the "omission" I
actually had the Marauder's Map scenario in mind. And OOTP is my least
favorite too although I am looking forward to seeing both #12 Grimauld Place
and the climactic scene in the Department of Mysteries.
Thanks for your answers!
Stacey (who incidentally is 33, mother to two girls eagerly awaiting their
Hogwarts letters, residing in CT)
