All 'Potter' DVDs to be shelved by 2007

If you'd READ it, you'd know.  Brief translation:  Keep  your DVD player.  
They won't be changing everything at once, and they will  offer regular DVDs 
attached to the back of the HD DVDs, according to one of the  things I posted in 
that message.  The studios aren't stupid enough to lose  money by following 
new technology before the "one" HD DVD system player is  decided.  Warner 
Brothers (home of Harry Potter) is backing the HD DVD  system created by Toshiba.  
Disney is backing the Blu-Ray system created by  Sony.  Time will tell which of 
these machines becomes the standard, BUT. .  .some very wise folks are making 
machines that play both  systems.
 
In the meantime, hold on to your DVD player and buy the new Harry  Potter 
DVDs when they come out - they will come out in a format you'll be able  to view 
on your current machine.  No worries.
