[HPFGU-Movie] Creature in Hagrid's hut?

I think it was supposed to be a blast-ended skrewt. The director's 
attempt to incorporate that element of POA that they woefully dropped 
from the movie (remember there were supposed to be skrewts in the maze 
as well as giant spiders and a sphinx?)
Or maybe they were just making a blanket statement about Hagrid having 
weird, semi-legal critters in his possession, such as Norbert the 
dragon.
