I'm not Brittish but I think Bill Nighy as Scrimgeour would take the 
character in interesting directions. He is such a wonderful physical 
actor - he emotes with every inch of his body. I can see his 
Scrimgeour as a cross between Viktor in 'Underworld' and Lawrence 
in 'The Girl in the Cafe.' Commanding and powerful and yet akward 
and wrong-footed around Harry.

As for old Sluggy, I think we have a clue to his possible casting 
from Jo's interview with Jonathan Ross recently...  Bob Hoskins.
