Valerie" Eyborg: I was actually at the local mall in my city (Reykjav?k, Iceland), where there is also a cinema. And I came across a huge OotP cardboard cut poster in front of the cinema doors, in three parts actually - one showing Harry and the teen sextet, second showing Voldemort and the Death Eaters (including Bella), and the third showing Sirius and some Order members, including Tonks. That's what I wanted to mention, because Tonks there had WHITE hair - kind of like Storm in the X-men, if you saw that one. And no, this was not a black and white poster. But this gave me hope that Tonks might actually change her hair colour in the movie! :) By the way, there is also a clip on the Internet somewhere that shows Tonks change her face in front of Ginny, and there her hair looks kind of dark brown. So - I imagine that this means that they haven't cut Metamorphmagus!Tonks from the movie! :D Eyborg/Gunn?, looking forward to seeing Tonks, Luna and Bella in the movie! Fireworks 2. Professor Umbridge 3. Another Story 4. Dementors in the Underpass 5. Dumbledore's Army 6. The Hall of Prophecies 7. Possession 8. The Room of Requirements 9. The Kiss 10. A Journey to Hogwarts 11. The Sirius Deception 12. Death of Sirius 13. Umbridge Spoils a Beautiful Morning 14. Darkness Takes Over 15. The Ministry of Magic 16. The Sacking of Trelawny 17. Flight of the Order of the Phoenix 18. Loved Ones and Leaving I'm not to crazy about the electric guitar sound in Fireworks, I hope it will be more enjoyable in the movie with the visuals. Professor Umbridge made me laugh - it's so purposefull and full of fakey cheerfulness. I felt a real sense of urgency and drama in The Sirius Deception and I was almost almost afraid to listen to Death of Sirius but I think the clip must be of the buildup before the sadness comes so it wasn't upsetting. I loved Darkness Takes Over - it sounded like a scary, edgy Flight of the Bumblebee to me. The Ministry of Magic was just starting to give me goosebumbs when it cut off. Flight of the Order of the Phoenix doesn't quite soar the way Buckbeak's Flight does in PoA but it sounds good none the less. As for the rest... I'm going to wait for the movie to judge, I don't think the clips do them justice. I love orchestral music and I am liking this sound track, a LOT, too. I agree with your assessment of Fireworks, but otherwise it is all so beautiful. I'm sure I will buy this sound track. The only one I have so far is SS/PS. I was really upset when they changed composers after the third movie because I love John Williams, but this new one has done a good job. Carol responds: Maybe they'll bring Christian Coulson back as Tom riddle Sr. since he's too old now to play Tom Jr. (Hope they find someone who closely resembles him.) As for poor Merope, I can't guess who they'd cast or who'd want the part. I expect that they'll cut Cormac since there's no Quidditch but keep Romilda, without whom Ron can't be poisoned (after eating the love-potioned chocolates intended for Harry) or be reconciled with Hermione. Does this mean that they are finding a new Dumbledore!? I was rather fond of the one in the first two movies, and was quite outraged at the personality of the actor they found to replace him. In GoF, when he grabs Harry and yells and asks him if he put his name in the goblet, I just couldn't believe it. Not at all like the calm and reserved Dumbledore in the books. I feel that Dumbledore's personality is very important to the books, and thought this actor didn't even come close. I would be very excited if there was a new Dumbledore.
