Does explain why Dumbledore doesn't have any known kids, grandkids, 
great grandkids, etc... I mean someone his age should have had decedents 
going to Hoggwarts and gloating how their great granddad was Dumbledore...

Does also explain why he didn't see the evil in front of his very nose.. 
Love blinds us all to things those we love do or say.

Its not however like we get to see much of what any of the character's 
sex lives are like.. they might as well all be asexual outside a little 
teenage kissing and the random appearance of kids to show a few couples 
must have done the nasty dance after they got married.. Its not like we 
get to see any of the adult characters snogging...
