> Oooh, yes, I forgot about him! Perhaps too old for Tonks' Dad, but
with his "piercing, brilliant blue" eyes, I've always pictured him as
Dumbledore. Sorry, this topic is about future movies... So, maybe
Aberforth? We've only seen a glimpse of him from a distance so far,
no harm in switching to another actor.

Carol responds:
To me, Anthony Hopkins is Hannibal Lecter. How about casting him as
Fenrir Greyback, licking his lips over the thought of Dumbledore's
liver with fava beans and a glass of Chianti? Oops, wrong film and not
exactly PG-13. And it looks as if they're leaving Fenrir out of the
films, in any case, perhaps because he's just too horrible and would
detract from the Draco/Dumbledore and Snape/Dumbledore interaction.

As for Ted Tonks, who, unfortunately, probably won't make it into the
films, I picture him as plump (or at least, having what we Americans
call a beer belly), blond, and jolly, none of which matches Anthony
Hopkins.

Aberforth has already been cast (Jim Somebody); we glimpsed him in the
Hog's Head scene in OoP.

Someone mentioned Hugh Grant as Gellert Grindelwald, but youthful
charisma or not, he's about thirty years too old to play a
sixteen-year-old, having been born in the same year as Snape and the
Marauders (1960).

Carol, noting that the actor who plays young Grindelwald will need to
be about the same age as the extras who play Hogwarts students (and
perhaps a bit younger than Dan Radcliffe and Rupert Grint)
