Regarding Draco, I can only take real-world examples of upper
and middle class teens who sound much more like hip-hop thugs
than their upper class parents. I think his slightly down scale
accent is a degree of common teen rebelion, but I think his
true well-educated voice does show through.

When you think about it the main four or five characters (Dan,
Emma, Rupert, Tom, and possible Mathew) all speak very proper
english. Seamus/Devon Murry, because of his strong Irish
accent, seems a little more down scale, but I think despite
speaking allegedly English, the Irish have a modern language
all their own.

Just a few thoughts.
