Scene-by-scene analysis of the trailer

Here's a link to a mostly excellent scene-by-scene analysis of the
teaser trailer (if you wonder about "mostly," it relates to a remark
that HBP is about Harry vs. Voldemort/Dumbledore vs. Tom Riddle. I
won't argue with that assessment here except to say that possibly the
writer is confusing the central conflict of the series with the
specific contents of HBP, which is not, after all, called "Harry
Potter and the Boy Who Became a Dark Lord").
That aside, the analysis points out details that some of us have
discovered through careful multiple watchings but missed the first
(and, for me, second and third) time around. It also renders Mrs.
Cole's heavily accented British English intelligible to my American
ears, for which I'm grateful.
Anyway, lest I forget, here's the link:

The page also links to a brief interview with Rupert Grint, who
reminds us that this trailer is just a teaser and there's a longer one
to come, and reactions by fans, some of whom, strangely enough, found
it disappointing. (Sure, we all wanted more of our favorite
characters, but the glimpses we get of other things besides the
interview with the disturbing little Tom (Dumbledore putting on the
ring, Dumbledore in the cave, Fenrir Greyback, etc.) are intriguing.
(I still wish there were no uncanonical attack on the Burrow, but the
rest, if not completely by the book, seems very well done.)
