[HPFGU-Movie] Hugh Laurie as Scrimfeour?

now that would be the smartest idea the the writers/directors have done since the harry potter films began. But i went and checked on imdb.com and they didn't have any thing listed for HP for Mr. Laurie. I wish he would be in the movies though, its a sad disappointment he isn't. He would bring allot to the movies.

for the life of me remember where I saw it. 

I notice that Scrimgeour isn't listed at IMDB.com as being in
Half-blood Prince, which in turn makes me wonder how they
could possibly have video footage of him in the role.

Personally, I thought Billy Connelly would have made a good
Scrimgeour. He certainly has the hair for it.
