I remember reading somewhere that there won't be any Battle for Hogwarts type scenes in HBP because it's too much like the final scenes of DH. If this is the case, I think the producer is correct. I don't remember Hagrid's hut in the trailer - the Borough is on fire (not in book - but the entire xmas attack on the Borough is not in the book) but I'll look at it again. It's possible, that after screening and having a very, very negative fan reaction to there not being a battle at the end they shot the battle and put it in, then spiced it into the new trailer so we could rest assured it happened after all. It's also possible the final battle was shot but was too unfinished for the work-print, or they didn't know if it was worth putting in for the extra time and special effects, so they screened first, then finished. md [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] From zanooda2 at yahoo.com Wed Nov 19 05:18:15 2008 From: zanooda2 at yahoo.com (zanooda2) Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2008 05:18:15 -0000 Subject: Potter in the news In-Reply-To: <00bd01c949dc$cdda0520$698e0f60$@com> Message-ID: --- In HPFGU-Movie at yahoogroups.com, "Cabal" wrote: > I don't remember Hagrid's hut in the trailer - the Borough > is on fire (not in book - but the entire xmas attack on the > Borough is not in the book) but I'll look at it again. zanooda: Yeah, it's in the second part of the trailer, where everything changes really quickly, so I only was able to see this fire in the stills, but it looks very much like Hagrid's hut burning. Wow, thanks! I didn't recognize Snape before, but now I looked at the second picture of the fire, and it's really him! I'm so glad they always have the screencaps, because it's practically impossible to catch everything in the trailer, it's too fast. Narcissa is not at Hogwarts either in the book or the movie. Lizzie It could be, I had to google search to find a picture of the actress playing Alecta, and it could be. But I blew up the still and it looks a long like Narcissa, I may be wrong but just because she's not there in the book doesn't mean she's not in the film. Seeing how she has to betray Voldemort in the last film, it's possible they expanded her role, or at least, presence. I think it's possible, he seems blond enough :-). On the right is Alecto, so they say, and I agree, because I don't think she looks like Narcissa at all :-). I can be wrong, of course, because I only saw both actresses on photos, so I don't know them well.
