I think you make a good point about Rupert being a bad interview. But 
doesn't Rupert have a manager or someone advising him about his 
career who might help him with his speaking problem.  When Emma 
Watson was asked what one thing annoyed her about her castmates, she 
responded that Rupert said "um" and "yeah" too much. If you watch the 
interviews in the special features of the dvds, Dan and Emma 
practically talk over each in their excitement to speak, while Rupert 
stares dreamily into Rupertland.  I too think that he's a bright and 
intersting guy who has much to contribute, but it's difficult to 
discern that from his responses, or lack of them. IT seems as if 
Rupert's silence hurts his career, and I hope he does something about 
it. I know that his unwillingness to write the essay or articulate 
his feelings about his character for Alfonso diminished his role in 
POA.
