Greyback attacks children because he wants to turn them into werewolves at the young age. Among adults, IMO, he prefers girls (meaning young women :-)). I take it he likes soft skin, which both children and women have. I suppose it's not much pleasure for him to bite some stubbly cheek, LOL.
