I don't think it's a Mac thing but I can't be sure since I use a PC! But I think it might have something to do with posting from your e-mail rather than the site.

At any rate, it would help a lot if you'd skip a space between your words and those of the person you're quoting and make sure to label whose words are whose. <smile> (We all forget those things sometimes, I realize. I've caught myself not snipping properly a couple of times lately on the main list.)
