A very convincing scenario/argument you put forward.  I am not a writer (at least not since the creative writing classes in college), so I do not really have any idea how tempting or not the idea of reworking a completed series would be.  I certainly wouldn't mind reading whatever she wanted to put out as revisions.  The more backstory and side adventures the better.  And I would certainly love to see more Ron, Hermione, and Neville since those are my three favorite characters.
