Richard:

After reflecting on those last few scenes with Snape, I think there has to be deleted scenese on the DVD.  Not only do I think it would have bothered the cast if the scenes were so abbreviated in the script, but they really didn't feel complete when i was watching it on screen.  I bet they were written and filmed longer and then cut in editing.
