Well, it sounds a little odd, but I am hoping he is not actually creepy about it.  Emma was an adorable little girl, and obviously really bright and precocious.  And she is a GORGEOUS young woman, and certainly just as bright and charming.  I remember one of the interviews where Rupert was asked about having a "crush" on Emma.  His answer was basically, "Well yeah.  Everyone is crazy about Emma." (paraphrased of course :))

It's just too bad for the Ron character.  It does seem that any time Hermione gets a little extra screen time or nifty lines, they are at the expense of Ron.
