I was a little sentimental this AM on my way to work. I'm listening to HP5 on CD and it was at the part when Moody had just shown Harry the OotP pic (NOT Sirius in the train station, as per the movie). Harry is disturbed seeing his parents, the Longbottoms and others, dead or mentally destroyed. Mrs. Weasley is in the parlour of Sirius's house trying to get rid of the boggart which keeps turning into dead Weasleys. Lupin, Sirius and Moody come up and Lupin is trying to console both Harry & Mrs. W. He says something like "It's not like it was before. We're much more prepared." Mrs. W: "I keep picturing my family dead...I'm so worried!" I'm concurrently reading DH and am almost to the Hogwarts battle scene, thinking "Hedwig, Moody, Lupin, Tonks, Fred"....so many were going to die and none of us knew it at the time. boohooo! I'm both looking forward to, and sad for it to be the final film and to see some great characters get bumped off. ;-(
By the way, wonder why they didn't have Wormtail's silver hand kill him in Part 1? Not that anyone would've been too chagrined over his loss, but I'm wondering if the director thought it would be too cryptic to have Harry say "I saved your life!" and have viewers remember all the way back to that scene in POA in the Shrieking Shack.
