MusicalBetsy here:
At the end of the movie, Hermione comments on how Ron doesn't have a problem with Harry and Ginny being together. In fact, it's implied that they are STILL together, which in the book, he would have already broken up with Ginny. Obviously, Ginny is going to be more important in the 7th and 8th movies than she was in the book - she has to be, because she hid the book! There must already have been a plan in place to have more of Ginny in the last few movies, so they had her do something that only SHE could help with in the last movie...meaning Harry couldn't break up with her. But I agree with many others...it's just wrong. I too enjoyed Ginny in this movie, but I also missed the climatic kiss from the book, and I HATE it when they mess with the storyline!!
MusicalBetsy, who really would prefer to keep the movie and book lists separate. Right now, it's so easy to see if there's any new posts about movies on the movie list. That would be much harder if the two lists merged.
