Well, the whole side of hogwarts is pretty much destroyed by the battle and
giants, and it looks like they have harry and voldy fight at least part of
the final duel alone rather than surrounded by everyone. Doesn't tinker with
the story-line at all just some of the specifics in the narrative.

I'm very suspicious that they're tinkering with the story line....

For example, when does Voldemort get close up and personal 
to that extent with Harry? And the damage to Hogwarts?
