I was very impressed.

Yes, unquestioningly they did cut some things and they did fudge some things, but overall, I think this is David Yates best movie.

The pace was fast, they hit the key built points, and pick as good a place as any to stop.

I was actually amazed at how quickly they were able to move the story through the equivalent of the book. They covered a lot of ground, and, in my opinion, covered it well ... with some extremely minor reservations here and there.

In the theater I was in, there were several laugh out loud moment, though at different places for different people. One group in particular, on the opposite side of the theater (thankfully), laughed hysterically several times; though not annoyingly so. Yet, even with the laughs, the story managed to maintain the tension right up to the end.

Of course, like any movie, there were some choice I would quibble with, and some extreme short cuts to keep the story moving, but, once again, and overall, I was very pleased, and think that David Yates has done the best job yet, and look forward to more.

There was one place in particular that was left somewhat vague, and could have been easily cleared up if Ron had just spoken the line he was given in the book. Don't want to get too specific; don't want to put anyone off before they see it.

Of course, the full cast has upped their game tremendously. They are now showing real acting talent.

I'm seriously thinking of seeing it again tomorrow.
