I liked all but #2, I agree that a lot of cuts leave logical holes, but when
a rabid film-hater like Pete Travers of Rolling Stone who does not read the
books gets into a film I think that says something.

As for the Dursley's -- they filmed it I know because of interviews where
they talked about being on the set so let's hope that unlike 3 and 4 they
release an extended blu-ray.

We're trying to figure out how to go see it and how to afford it but I've
seen all six twice each, so to not go now would just suck - on the other
hand there's the electric bill, food and xmas to consider...

I just returned from seeing DH . It was better then the last 4 but...

Harry & Hermonie dancing in a test was a little too much for me. If they
had so much time to waste they should have left the Dursley's in, or show
Harry
finding the letter his mother wrote to Sirius.

Wormtail still alive? Why? Mudblood branded on her arm? Where did the
snatchers
come from anyway? They just happened to be walking thru the same forest the
the trio apparates into?

There was nothing about the portrait that they took from Sirius' home so how
did
someone know to send the "Doe" and the sword to the Forrest of Dean? Just a
good guess?

Also they way it was filmed was giving me a headache. When they are standing
still or sitting and they are vibrating up and down because the camera was
not
steady was annoying. I felt I was watching an amateur film maker with a
video camera
on his shoulder.

I'm too much of the book fan to really enjoy the movies. I think I'll pass
on part 2. No use in giving WB any more profit.
