Sheryll:
I'm another who usually stays through the credits right to the end. Aside from being interested in the song/music credits, I am generally interested in finding out where the movie is filmed. Sometimes there are clues for that earlier in the end credits, like being able to recognise the nationality of local crew members from the last names on the screen.
And, as perfectly stated above, there's the need to give that respect to those who worked hard to make the film possible. I almost always run a DVD through to the end and read the credits as well.
