To All:
First of all, Sorry for not noticing and continuing the discussion on the wrong list!

Cat Says:
I went to the show three times opening weekend and never saw him
remove the eye from the door nor did I see any action that would
have implyed that he got it. (I wish I had because that action
reinforces the type of compassionate individual that Harry is) If
I blinked and missed the moment, one would think that the film
makers would have supported the VERY subtle movement of removing
the eye by taking 5 seconds to show Harry looking at the eye and
then burying it. (Even adding a "I'm Sorry, Good-bye and Thank
You, Mad-Eye". There were plenty of moments when he was sitting
alone guarding the tent ... even right before the Doe Patronus
appears.

OR Harry could be sitting contemplating the eye and he "hears"
Mad-Eye saying "Constant Vigilance!" (Even a ghostly appearance
thrown in). The the Doe Patronus appears. Harry hurriedly buries
the eye where he had been sitting and the rushes after the Doe.

I DO believe that it was an important moment that was ignored.
That is MY take on it.
