I have seen a number of movies where the audience is "rewarded" for 
watching/sitting-through the credits by the inclusion of an extra 
scene. I have even seen these extra scenes embedded into the credits 
(ie: Part way through the credits, there is the extra scene). And 
then there are movies that run split-screen credits where the other 
half of the screen are out-takes.
