[HPFGU-Movie] Voldermort??

My thought is that it was originally pronounced the french way, which
is to not pronounce the last letter (drop the 't'). Mort in french
means death. Not sure what Volder means? Sounds german to me. If you
listen to the HP books on tape/CD, the narrator says it the french
way. Any one know off-hand how JKR pronounces it?
* sigh * I miss my Harry Potter! Was semi-excited about Breaking Dawn
and pretty psyched for The Hunger Games. But there will never be
another HP for me.

Happy Holidays, all!
