I just checked Amazon.com. You can get the entire 8 movie set on DVD for $40 right now (regular price is $78), but I'm not sure if this is a clearance price or if they reduced the price because this is older packaging, which they sometimes do. In Blu-Ray it is $65.47 for the entire set. Both are new at that price. You can get used discs cheaper than that, or you can pay a lot more with special features "like the Wizard's box set, which has all kinds of extras packed in with the movies.
They are also selling "double features" in Blu-Ray for $18 each, which would come to about $72 for the 4 double features.
I bought mine as the movies came out, so I obviously bought them individually. I didn't get a way to play them on Blu-Rau until Deathly Hallows Part 1 came out, so I only have the last two discs on Blu-Ray. I'd check them out in a store if I could, to see what sorts of extras are on each type of disc before buying. (I love the extras!).

I'm still here. I also have a question that may have been answered before. Is it better to buy the HP dvds separately or get the complete 8 film collection?
Thanks
Nikki
