Aha! Just what I suspected - there is no more Royal Canadian Pancake
House! The number was no longer in service and the operator had no
such listing.

But never fear! Jenny from Ravenclaw does her homework! There is a
yummy yummy restaurant on 225 East 60th street (between 2nd and 3rd
Avenue) called Serendiptiy III. It is one of my favorite places and I
have spent many a birthday celebration there since I was a little
girl. The menu is enormous with something for everyone (and the best
damned desserts too!). They will be open on Labor Day and they do
take reservations. I might have to make them for 11:30am, but I'll
hold off calling until I hear from people.

So, what do you all think? It is very easy to get there by bus or
train (the #6 subway stops right on 59th and Lex, two blocks away).
Please email me at Meboriqua at ... if you can definitely be there.
I'll cal the restaurant again on Wednesday or so to make reservations
- I'm guessing there will be almost 10 of us.

I hope this works out!
