Harry Potter Land and NYC Premiere!

Howdy ^_^

Just thought y'all might want to know about what's happening at the 
Scholastic Store this month.  Those of you who've been there before might 
remember a loft where the older kids books were kept.  Well, for the past 
month or so, that loft has been painstakingly converted into a Harry Potter 
land of sorts....and it looks WONDERFUL.  There's a Hogwarts Express train 
set, a suit of armor, velvet curtains, "floating" candels, portraits, funky 
lighting....and of course, loads of potter merchandise.  Grand opening is on 
November 1st.  Eeeee.

Actually, pretty much the entire month of November will be loaded with 
Potter-related events at the store...it's on Broadway, between Prince St. 
and Spring St.  If you're in the area, it's definately worth a look! ^_^

Finally, just a reminder that Diagon Alley and NYU's SciFi and Fantasy club 
are jointly organising a Potter Premiere Extravaganza.  Games! Prizes!  
Pizza!  Rampant obcession!  *g*  It looks like it's going to be a blast, and 
hey...the more the merrier!  So if you're interested...
