Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
Amazingly enough, my various relatives all agreed that the weekend of
March 1st would be an ideal time for me to visit. I found a cheap
airfare, and I can even fly into NYC and then switch airports and
leave from Connecticut at no extra cost. This is too easy! There has
to be a catch somewhere.
Anyway, I have purchased my plane ticket and am very much looking
forward to meeting all of you! (Except that I'm looking forward to
seeing Neil *again*, rather than to meeting him for the first time.)
So, now I need to figure out where I should stay in New York (I am
arriving the afternoon of Friday, Feb 28), and when I'll leave New
York for Connecticut. Any ideas on how late we'll be meeting on
Saturday? If the gathering goes past 7 or 8 p.m., I might be better
off staying in New York on Saturday night, rather than asking my
relatives to come to New Haven late at night to get me.
It sounds like Amy and Joywitch are also coming from out of town --
Amy and Joywitch, do you plan to stay in NYC Saturday night, or do we
need to wrap things up early enough that you can get back to Vermont
and DC?

heart-shaped boxes of chocolate
