Well, I definitely plan to be there! I even have a hotel now; I just
got the Radisson Lexington via Priceline for $89 (including Priceline
fee) plus tax for the previous night (Friday, 2/28.) Priceline rates
this a 3-star hotel, it is close to Grand Central, and the price
sounds good for NYC, so I'm happy.
Meeting 1pm at Grand Central sounds fine; I should be back there
around 7pm to get my train to Connecticut. We should probably narrow
down the place to meet, though. Hmmm, I don't suppose Grand Central
has a Platform 9-3/4, does it?
Jenny, I also hate fish. And, I'm a vegetarian, but so is Neil, so
that doesn't really add a new requirement. Any place that has non-fish
vegetarian food should work for me, too. (Some of you may know that I
used to be pretty strict about what I would and wouldn't do on
Saturdays, since it's the Jewish Sabbath. However, I'm trying to
loosen up on that, so it shouldn't be a problem.)
Anyone have suggestions for what I should see in NYC on Friday
afternoon and evening? (Saturday morning won't be a problem; I will
have just enough time to get up, get ready, and check out of my hotel
by 1pm!)
