Are you and Catherine talking about homemade Spotted Dick, or the stuff that
comes in a can, made by Heinz or whoever? A friend of mine from UK recently
sent me a can of Spotted Dick by Heinz ... I had quite a bit of fun with it
before I opened it and ate it. Iowan males in my town are not only
homophobic, but they go all queasy at the very thoughts that are conjured up
in their minds upon reading, "Spotted Dick" on a can. I asked one friend if
he had ever had any Spotted Dick. His reply was, "Not that I would admit
to."
