It's very easy to do. In fact, most mail readers (including the one I
use, Pine, a UNIX program) will by now recognize anything of the form
http://somesite.stuff as a link, and will treat it appropriately -- you
don't need to do anything but give the address in the text of your
message.
That's actually the best thing to do, since inserting html tags (an
actual link), won't work for anyone who (like me) can't receive HTML
mail.
